Meet the rest of the team
Invisalign Treatment & Marketing Coordinator
I grew up here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and although having moved interstate several times, I couldn’t stay away from this beautiful part of the world and returned home. I started out in the dental industry eight years ago and have worked in different roles as a dental assistant, receptionist and treatment coordinator throughout this time. My journey so far has lead me to Melbourne and Sydney gaining a variety of professional experience with many different practices. I love the industry and it is extremely rewarding to work with such an amazing team here at Invisible Orthodontics. I look forward to meeting new patients every day and helping them on their journey to a new smile! I love the outdoors, surfing, travelling, dancing eating and catching up with my friends. All the good things in life!
I was born and raised in South Africa where I completed my schooling and went on to study a Diploma in Beauty Technology. I enjoyed many years of working in the industry and opened a successful salon of my own.
In January 2014, along with my husband Glenn, and our two beautiful children, we emigrated to Australia and settled here on the Sunshine Coast. Change brings with it a lot of positives. After studying a Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical), I was fortunate enough to be offered a reception position with Dr Vas. Working my way up and learning more skills I am currently busy with my Diploma of Practice Management.
Although we miss our friends and family, living here on the Sunshine Coast has been amazing. We love the outdoors and take full advantage of living on such a beautiful coastline. I love coming to work every day in such a positive environment, and working with such an amazing team. The wonderful results are so rewarding to see.
Dental Assistant Manager
I was lucky to have a complete career change from Aviation to Orthodontics and am very passionate about the amazing treatments, technology and outcomes we offer our patients. It makes me so happy to be part of creating stunning smiles with Dr Vas and our team. The practice is always bright and cheerful so coming to work is something I look forward to. In my spare time I love being with my teenage kids and ‘fur baby’ Louie, enjoying any of the fun things to do on the Sunny Coast especially the beach, pool, dancing, yoga and restaurants.
I grew up on the Atherton Tablelands in Far north Queensland and moved to Brisbane in 2012, which lead me to the beautiful Sunshine Coast. My dental experience spans over 8 years in all areas of dentistry including general and specialty dentistry and now Orthodontics.
During this time I have worked as both a dental assistant and receptionist in varied roles and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey of learning the ins and outs of dentistry In my spare time I enjoy being a social butterfly, adventuring outdoors, playing guitar, and being creative in the kitchen and on canvas!
Having spent most of my formative years on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and previously worked in orthodontics here, it was a pleasure to return to both the Coast, and the industry of making people smile brighter, after a period in which I lived and worked across Australia in the mining industry. Desiring a sea change and career change, I returned home to this beautiful part of the world to study Biomedical Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast, through which I intend to work in medical research, with a special interest in molecular biology and genetics. As a part of the most amazing team of people here at Invisible Orthodontics, I thoroughly enjoy working in reception and as a dental assistant, through which I am lucky enough to build relationships with our lovely patients. I’m a firm believer that a great smile is the most attractive curve we can own, so it’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of bringing this about for our wonderful patients.
I grew up in a small town in country NSW. I have a loving husband and two beautiful children, a wonderful daughter in law and son-in-law. I now live in Hervey Bay Qld where I have been for the past 9 years on and off. I have worked along-side my husband in ministry for the best part of 20yrs while also working in the medical field in reception and administrative work. I have been with Invisible Orthodontics now for almost a year as an assistant and have loved every minute of this new learning curve. I am generally a very happy person and love for people around me to also be happy. For me it has always been extremely important that I have a great smile and beautiful teeth, so working for Invisible Orthodontics is a wonderful opportunity to be able to help others to also have those things. I love to travel and over the past few years my husband and I have travelled quite extensively.
I have worked in Orthodontics my whole working career and love the fact that we get to change our patient’s lives by giving them amazing smiles. There is something special about seeing our patient’s develop a new sense of confidence that they didn’t have before. In my spare time I enjoy nothing more than taking my English Bull Terrier, Brixton, for walks or to the beach. I also enjoy op-shopping and anything rockabilly or retro.
I am originally from the amazing Sunshine Coast but have had the privilege of living and working in America and Canada and travelling to various countries around the world. I have worked in the dental industry for 13 years as a dental assistant, receptionist and practice manager. I currently hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a Diploma in Management and would love to one day further my studies in the field of dentistry. I am very interested in orthodontics and love being able to watch patients grow with their ever changing beautiful smiles. During a break from dentistry, I was fortunate enough to work in the film industry as a Produce, Costume Designer and Special FX artist. In my spare time I love hanging out with my family and friends, sharing a glass of wine, going to the beach and relaxing watching a good movie.
I grew up on the gorgeous coast of Hervey Bay and spent my childhood by the beach. I spent my 20s travelling around Australia and overseas only to realise there's no place like home. I settled back in Hervey Bay 4 years ago with my partner whom I met while travelling. I completed my Cert III in dental assisting 2 years ago, only to land my dream job as a dental assistant with a wonderful team here at invisible orthodontics. I enjoy music, travelling and most importantly time with my partner and our busy toddler.
