Treatment Agreement Information

Before commencing treatment, please ensure all financials are set up and the necessary documents signed. Please note the following:

  • Appliances will not be ordered and treatment will not commence until all deposits and signed documents have been received by the practice.
  • All payment plans are set up through a third party called DentiCare. This allows us to concentrate on the most important part of your/your child’s orthodontic treatment and leave the financials to a trusted billing company. Please ensure you read through the DentiCare Service Agreement.
  • We are unable to accept ongoing payments directly to the practice other than the initial deposit or in the case where payment is made in full.
  • Payment plan times are separate from orthodontic treatment time. You may choose to extend payments beyond treatment or complete them earlier.
  • Please refer to your fee agreement for what is included in your investment.
  • If you have a private health fund, please discuss your claim options with them directly before commencement of treatment. Invisible Orthodontics can provide receipts and treatment plans, and DentiCare can provide Activity Statements.
  • Active treatment time varies depending on complexity and biological response. Treatment fees remain fixed regardless of duration.

Cancellation of Treatment

  • Fees will apply for cancellations.
  • Refunds exclude credit card fees, DentiCare fees, and administration fees.
  • Private health fund payments via Hicaps will be reimbursed to your health fund.
  • Cancellations after appliance manufacturing will incur lab fees.
  • If treatment has commenced, costs will be calculated up to that point.

Staff

My staff are an integral part of this practice, assisting with various technical tasks. You may see them performing many services. Should you have questions, feel free to speak to either myself or my staff. – Dr Vas Srinivasan

Patient Consent for Overseas Administrative Support

We use trained administrative staff located overseas to assist with functions such as appointment scheduling, billing, and patient records management.

  • Bound by strict confidentiality and privacy obligations
  • Comply with Australian Privacy Act 1988
  • Access information securely and only when necessary

Your information will only be used for administrative support. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Default Clause

  • Interest of 5% per annum will be charged on overdue payments after one month.
  • An administration fee of 14% per annum applies to overdue invoices.
  • All recovery costs, including legal and collection fees, must be paid by the applicant.
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland.

Additional Services

  • X-rays are not included but are bulk-billed if done at the practice.
  • External procedures (fillings, cleaning, extractions, etc.) are not included.
  • Charges apply for lost/broken appliances or extended treatment time.
  • Missed or late-cancelled appointments incur fees.
  • Poor oral hygiene may lead to treatment termination.
  • Clear aligner patients may require braces temporarily at no extra cost.

By signing below, I consent to the use of my/my child’s treatment records for educational and marketing purposes. Personal details will not be shared. I understand I can withdraw consent at any time by contacting the practice.
